Well, we are supposed to be heading to our Picnic Pops concert tonight and the current weather is RAIN in Grand Rapids.  I will be so sad if the concert is cancelled, so please cross your fingers that this clears up!  If the weather were ideal, I’d love to wear something like the above outfit!  Gingham is always associated with picnics, but this yellow and white top is more subtle than the oft used red and white.  The woven clutch is also a nod to picnic baskets!  The hat and cardigan make the outfit more versatile for weather and the soft pink jewelry adds additional color to the yellow and white.  And these flat sandals really complete the practicality needed, but not without adding some style of their own!

Get it together, weather!  I want to see Michael Cavanaugh tonight!
