Yesterday I was lucky enough to spend a day at the beach and an evening having dinner with great friends.  It was a super busy, wonderful day!  So this beach-y themed party really jumped out at me!

This Surf’s Up themed party comes from Paisley Petal Events to celebrate the beginning of summer.  Even though summer is now winding to an end, we are still having beautiful weather in Michigan and there is time left to head to the beach!  I am in love with the fantastic dessert table, complete with surfboard backdrop (that Holly and her husband made out of plywood!), M&M shots, jello push pops, cookies, and cupcakes.  The colored lanterns in front look so much like beach balls – I love it!  Foods included summer kid favorites of hot dogs, chips and pop.  I am amazed at how well Holly kept the colors coordinated throughout this entire party!  The orange, green and aqua are found everywhere – even on the water balloons!

Looks like the boys had a great time!
