Since today is my first day back to school (eek!) I am finally owning up to the fact that summer is winding down and fall is quickly approaching.  Fall is actually my favorite season (as much as I really do looove summer!).  Donuts, cider, football games, sweaters and jeans, orchard visits, changing leaves…I do love it all!  The only bad thing is that often the weather in Michigan transitions from very hot to quite chilly quickly and my ideal sunny but cool fall weather doesn’t last very long.  So, I try to enjoy what I get!

This fall family picnic that I saw on Celebrations at Home looks like my ideal fall afternoon.  Running around an orchard followed by some fantastic treats – doesn’t get much better than that :)  Styled by White Room Events and photographed by Pobke Photography, I wish I could have joined this family for their fantastic day!
