I am going through a very girly phase of looooving anything ruffled.  Blog-land is filled with ruffles on clothes, curtains and even cakes.  Recent ruffles seem more modern than the ruffles of my youth (maybe it’s just me?) – less adolecent and more chic.   They can be used to give dimension to the back of a dessert bar or make a dramatic table cloth.
