Did the Summer Solstice sneak up on you as well? I’m so happy that today is [finally!] the official start of summer! Last week, Mr. Lemon and I were vacationing in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We went with a group of 22 people and stayed on a HUGE house across the street from the beach. One night we all got together for a crab party to celebrate our friends’ anniversary. The dinner was super casual but one of our favorite memories. If you look closely at the table, you’ll see Food Lion grocery bags acting as a tablecloth! Although I LOVE styling more elaborate events, sometimes a simple event is the most memorable.
Happy Summer Solstice!

The summer solstice is actually a bigger holiday here in Sweden than Christmas! It’s called Midsommar and we celebrate on Friday and Saturday of the week of the solstice, so it’s this weekend. The Swedes are very fond of moving holidays around so they result in a long weekend :o)
I love it! I wish it were a bigger holiday here as well!
When you and Sean eventually make it over to visit you guys should try to come for Midsommar and we can party it up Swedish style!
Oooooh….great idea!
i want to go to there!!!
that looks like fun!!
