Since I wrote A Moment to Share in June, pertaining to my job loss, a lot has happened so I wanted to share {again} on my life.  I have found a new, part time position with a small financial office and have decided to take a few college classes.  My new office is run by a husband and wife team who are SO wonderful to work with and very supportive of my going back to school.  I plan to take a few classes to learn some basics in graphic design and also expand my currently limited digital photography skills.  Both in the effort of furthering my dream of making This Nest is Best into a business.  Mr. Lemon, my friends, family and neighbors have wholeheartedly jumped in to support me.  Over the past two months I’ve realized how ABUNDANTLY blessed I am with the people who surround me!  There have been times when I felt so depressed at my situation, but many more times when I marveled at how lucky I am to have the people in my life that I do.

Since I started writing This Nest is Best in May, I have tried valiantly to write five posts a week and have only failed twice.  My intention is to keep it up with my new schedule, so don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere!  Even though I know I’ll be busy with fresh challenges, as my yoga teacher says, I’m trying to “hold the long view” when it comes to my goal of running an event planning business.  Everything is exciting and feels as though I’m headed in the right direction for my life, which is something I’ve struggled to feel for awhile.  And again, I really would like to thank everyone who reads my little blog!  You make me smile!  And for anyone in West Michigan, please give me a shout if you’d like help planning any event!  I will certainly find time for you :)

Crazytown, right? On top of all of the lemon specific posts, another half dozen featured yellow as a main color.  I think perhaps everyone is getting their last “summer” party posts out there before we’re into Back to School season.  Whatever the reason, you know I’m not complaining!
