Last year was my first time choosing a word of the year.  I loved setting an intention for the year and wanted to do it again for 2013.  This year’s word didn’t come quite as quickly to me as last year’s did, but that doesn’t make it any less special.

My word for 2013 is “grow.” I am loving my life and where things stand but I also know myself well enough to know that if I let things become stagnant I will become bored and disinterested.  This year, I want to push myself to grow and ensure that doesn’t happen!
