Even though we continue to get snow here in Michigan, Easter is just around the corner! It has definitely snuck up on me but I wanted to create a 20/20 Tablescape to celebrate. A $20/20 minute set up seems just about perfect to put a little celebration into egg dying, doesn’t it? I love the idea of making everyday celebrations more special and I think this accomplishes that perfectly!
Everything I purchased came from Target this time around… I love these heavy weight paper tablecloths they carry on and off for only $4, although I was disappointed to realize that the yellow polka-dot pattern didn’t carry through the entire cloth when I unfolded it. The melamine plates were on clearance for $3.50/4 so I grabbed two sets – I really love the colors and fun pattern. They will be perfect for eating al fresco all summer! The egg animals were just too cute to pass up at only $4/4 and would be the perfect favor filled with a treat. Plus, there was a fox so it was a must-buy. Obviously. I already owned the ramekins but I know these can also be purchased at Target and are great to have in your party cupboard! Blue tissue paper and lace yarn (my cheap alternative to baker’s twine!) were in my craft armoire, but both could be picked up very inexpensively. Fringing out the tissue paper was super easy and it would be so cute for Easter basket filler!
After going over budget for the holidays, I went under budget this time around :) Enjoy!
Love those cute plates!! Found you from Finding the Pretty and Delicious.
